Client software is the most important
component and the heart . An
authenticated user can only access or
amend unencrypted data, and provide
access to the data to other users via a
THe Client. Every Client possesses
individual keys and encrypts all data
before it leaves the device. Only invited
users, or their personal devices where
they have a Client installed, can decrypt
this data.
Drive can monitor any number of local
files and folders in the file system and
synchronise content with personally
invited team members. The software is
suitable for data synchronisation,
collaboration and data security between
multiple computers, users and mobile
devices. All files and documents are
available to all team members at all times
- including offline - in the file system.
The data are automatically synchronised
between the computers and mobile
devices used. This is only ever performed
via a server which ensures constant
availability, backups and data security. If
you choose, all files can also be provided
via a virtual file system so that they
remain centrally on the server. Data can
also be provided for use via a web
browser, meaning no need to install the
Client software.
